Given my feelings for mint, one might think that I would like the MINT GREEN PAINT that now covers the walls of my master bathroom. Wouldn't you know that this was the one paint color that was not sampled on the wall and it looks totally different than it did on the picture sample (I was thinking it was going to be much more earthy, or natural, or not artificial looking, or warm, or something).

And now I know that there's a mint that I don't like. Man, I hate making expensive mistakes...

That is why I don't ever paint, I don't know what color to use so I just don't do it. I am going to try your sample idea. I really want/need to paint.
Oh no! I picture the color our master suite was when we bought our house--do you remember it? That awful mint green with the fan-shaped swirls in the plaster. It's actually a pretty cheap mistake, as they go. Good luck choosing a new color!
Oh No! Sorry about the mint bathroom (but your post was very funny).
I got the t-shirt at Steve & Barry's back when they were still in business. It isn't one I wear in public regularly since it does attract attention, but my kids love it and it was good for camping! :)
Post a picture!
Paint colors are the hardest. They never turn out how you think they will. I was "banned" from our kitchen when I was pregnant as they wanted to surprise me with the color I so laboriously picked out, and I sure wish I would have seen that first little bit because I would have totally nixed it. Alas. Sorry. By the way....can we have access to your other blog? Fun!
Paint colors are so hard to pick out. I think greens and yellows are deceivingly hard. Your blog looks great!
Wish we could eat mint cheesecake with you guys. Green paint can be tough. I had that problem with Elizabeths room and finally had to have it redone. Your pictures look great.
