Some people cheat on exams.
Some people cheat their employer.
Some people cheat on their spouse.
This morning I cheated on my "resolve to make healthier choices" (better term than diet, yes?) with this:

And wouldn't you know that I didn't even really enjoy the bowl of sugary goodness because I was scarfing it down while the baby fussed and fussed wanting me to pick her up.
Double guilt.
Confession over. Moving forward...

Mmmmmmm.....Golden Grahams is a favorite of mine. A worthy cheat item!
I hate to tell you, but Golden Grahams isn't even much of a cheat. Unlike a lot of sweet cereals where sugar is the #1 ingredient, Golden Grahams starts off with whole grain wheat. Sugar is next, but there is no evil high fructose corn syrup in there-- they opt for the much more angelic brown sugar syrup instead.
It has fewer grams of sugar than yogurt or that awful health-faker known as granola-- when you eat the two of those together.... watch out!
True, Golden Grahams might be a sort of empty calorie breakfast, but there are far worse. Anyway, just wanted to tell you not to feel guilty. There's no need. ; )
Thanks for that info, LQ. Helps me feel better about having pizza for dinner (ha!).
Good thing Golden Grahams are low in fat! ; )
So does cookie dough count as cheating?
