It looks as though we have sold our home. The house is under contract and we close at the end of this month (the week before my due date)! What a whirlwind this past week has been. In my usual style, instead of starting to pack or deal with the realities of moving, I have been spending my "spare time" making a quilt for the baby. My thoughts and emotions have vacillated from feeling extremely grateful that our home has sold (and to a great family, btw) to feeling extremely sad that we are moving and so soon! I wish I could pack up all of my dear friends and take them along...we have been so blessed these past 4 years to live in this wonderful neighborhood.
Rob's folks have kindly agreed to let us stay with them until we can find a place in Arizona. I'm guessing/hoping we'll be moving down there in July; before school starts and just in time for the real heat. So, here's to a new chapter in our lives; let the chaos (umm, I mean adventure) begin.

I am happy and sad for you guys, you will be missed.
We all were blessed with you here. Even though I have known that you were leaving, the suddenly reality of it all is making me very, very sad. I sure am going to miss having you so close by.
Tamsen! I am so excited for you guys! I know it's been crazy, but so much better to have your house sold before the baby arrives. Trying to keep a house "showing worthy" after just giving birth is no fun (not that moving is, either, but I've done it twice so I know you can!) We'll miss you!
(Oh, and sorry to say.... July is long after the real heat starts down there) ; )
I'm so relieved and happy for you guys, but sad to lose you. You guys have been great!
Yay! That has to be to the lowest-stress house-selling experience I've ever heard of. You never even had to make flyers!
I'm not happy about you moving, though, because it means we'll see you less. :(
I am excited for you! I was just thinking today that I needed to email you and ask how things were going with your house. I'm glad it's sold and you don't have to keep your house spotless anymore. That was such a relief to me when ours sold. Looks like you had it priced right! It is hard to move from a place you love so much. It's been hard - but a fun adventure too. Talk to you soon.
ahhh! i just got teary reading this! like everyone else, i'm happy for you that you were able to sell it so fast! i haven't even talked to you much lately but i will for sure miss you and your cute family! you are such a strong woman and i admire you and i know you'll be able to get through this next bit of chaos...and adventure! good luck!!!
So glad you sold it but sorry you have to go through of saying good bye to everyone. I am just sad because who knows when we will see you guys if your not in Utah anymore. Maybe you'll have to meet up with us in CA sometime.
Reality sucks.....but I am happy for you. What a blessing. When can I take your kids? How often? They are more than welcome here and my kids would be grateful to have them. Yay for you!
And hey, it should correspond nicely during your "nesting" stage to get everything pulled together. How convenient. Hee hee.
Love, love, love you guys. You will be missed more than you will know.
Congrats on the quick sale of your house! But I know exactly how you are feeling. Moving is so hard even when you know there will be blessings wherever you go!
Wow Tamsen, it is amazing that you have your house under contract. I guess, sadly, that means this is meant to be...Congrats! Let me know if I can do ANYTHING for you!
Here's wishing for an easy delivery and move! As long as you have A/C you'll be all set for the summer.
Wow Tamsen - What a blessing in a slow housing market, to sell so quickly. But I know how you feel. I still miss my friends from our last neighborhood. Moving isn't easy. But I am sure that the Lord has plans for you in Arizona. We loved Tucson, especially in the Winter.
We will be in Utah for most of June and some of July. I know that things will be busy for you, but I would love to see baby girl, and you(of course) before you go. I will email you when it gets closer.
I wish you the best with packing and moving, and delivering number four. I am still adjusting to four kids. Life is an adventure, for sure. Love you!
Tamsen- I must say that I found out you would be leaving the court days ago, but it has takin me until now to try and accept it! I'm super sad to see you go! I feel so much comfort having you just one house down. You have been there for me and the girls so many times these past four years. Thank you so so much! I have never met anyone in my life with such an unconditional kindness and love like yours. I will never forget it! I don't know if you have read Twilight but Bella loves Arizona, so I'm sure you will too! Congrats, and good luck!!
So happy for you guys!!!
