Thanks, Martha

While Rob worked in our yard yesterday, I spent more time than I would like to admit in the kitchen making a cake for Tosh's birthday. A had a few minor set backs, but was fairly pleased with the end result:

This monkey cake was inspired by the following:

and

And finally, time to eat! Tosh in action:

At this point Tosh squeals with delight and then decides that he's had enough and climbs out of his highchair...
Happy Birthday, Monkey!

Cute cake, Tamsen! I'm so jealous that Tosh actually touched his cupcake. Wish Big would have done the same. On the other hand, I sure am glad Big can't get out of his highchair.

Adorable cake. I am impressed. I have never attempted a fancy birthday cake. How fun. Your little Tosh simply could not be cuter.

You wonder woman, you! I love the cake!!! And the perfect little cupcakes. I sure hope the boys got to help Rob outside while you worked on those and were not underfoot....however I'm sure you had your share of "helpful entertainment." Very, very cute!

Awesome. My friend Adriana made that same cake for her son Jasper. I'll see if I can find it on her blog and send you a link.

Tosh is so skinny!

You have out done yourself! We missed you and Tosh at the bash. I hope you have enjoyed the "weapon" that Uncle Bob sent home with the boys! They are adorable and made me laugh. See you Saturday...I hope.
